Themba Seventh Day Adventist School (South Africa)
Themba Seventh Day Adventist School is a combined school situated at Pikoli location in Peddie. It was a private school of Seventh Day Adventist Church. The church decided to hand it over to government in 1996.
Initially it was a school for Adventists only, but later they admitted all learners irrespective of denomination. There was a girls hostel but later it was closed due to unrully learners.
The school starts from grade R to grade 12.It has an enrolment of 179 learners. It offers commercial stream onlyat secondary level. Many learners left the school to urban areas and that has affected the number of teachers in the school,we have 9 teachers from grade R to grade 12.Many teachers left due to redeployment. The school principal is Ms T.L Mhlaba -Mxabangeli.
